Intel CPUs do have lower "advertized" TDP than their AMD counterpart. Lower TDP generally means the CPU runs cooler and draw less power. That's probably where they get the idea that AMD runs much hotter. However, Intel and AMD uses different kind of methods when determining TDP. Intel usually use the average with a small buffer while AMD uses the close maximum.

hahaha. ka old school pero wa ghapon ma gets sa tanan.

Mu init man gyud na tanan processor basta gamiton.

basta naa flow of electrons < electric current > naa gyud na friction mahitabo, mao na mu init.

and tanan processor have designed operating temp. min and max ( TDP ) at stock speed < non OC >

on old articles featuring OC events, they found out that at certain temp below zero, some specific processor won't run at all.

and on some < dangerous experiments, do not replicate this at home > < controlled > OC events, they actually to blow up a processor by removing its HSF while running it, all for the heck of gathering information.

the most survivable processor is the < not so > lame celery

while the most that exploded < punturing a hole in the mobo > are AMD BARTONs and intel PrESSCOTTs.

    but that was then.

now a days, that mu-init urban legend must be very specific on which do they mean mu init,

otherwise it becomes an unintelligible comment.

DON'T MIND IT. just tell them to read more google.
