Nakapalit kog 2nd hand WD 1TB nga caviar green desktop hdd(sa ayosdito nga site)
Pag check namo sa sentinel with the seller before nako gipalit, 100% health and performance.ug walay altered entity sa S.M.A.R.T..mao deal dayon..
pag abot nako sa balay, ako gi partition, gi format, ako dayon gi installan ug Win7 OS...nagkamang man sa kahinay pero ako lang jud giantos hangtud nahuman...then pag restart na for the first time booting up with os, pwerte dugaya jud niya ka boot with fresh win7 OS...ako lang gihuwat nga ma load niya ang os, then i decide to defrag tanan partition using Advance SystemCare nga app ug gi full scan sa antimalware/antivirus software, pero wla japon naulian...namasin ko basin pwede ra himoun nako back up drive pero pwerte jud dugaya magkopya bisan 1GB lang na file,mapul-an kag hinuwat...murag nahurot na jud ako gahom ani nga hard drive...mao ngayo ko tabang sa inyong powers..

- wla ni sya natagak or watsoever sa akong mga kamot..
- maikog ko mo uli sa seller kay gi test man daan namo sa sentinel before gipalit (ang sayop lang nako kay wla nako testingi ug transfer ug files sa wala pa nako bayri)

well for start, ang Green is not meant for as an OS drive

that said, if use as secondary as storage drive, ok rman ang transfer rate.
in my experience. it does help nga USB 3.0 ang akong gamit.

1st of all, unsay complete computer specs nmo? post them pls
2nd, replace sata cable, use other sata port, try ACHI mode sa bios, use other sata power cable and dont use adaptor or converter. psu is a good quality brand?
3rd, surface test the drive. try testingi ug zerofill/lowlevelformat using hdd manufacturer utility. if wala error, try HDD Sentinel surface test-write test is faster.

hopefully dili gubaon ang harddisk. the same ba ang serial number sa imo nadawat na item ug ang gi test?

to answer your questions:
1. Computer specs
Mobo: MSI k9n6pgm2-v
Procei: AMD Athlon II X2 240
Ram: 2gb ddr2
Power Supply: Zeno P4-600W (generic)

Note: Gi try pud nako ni nga hard disk ug butang sa i3-3220 with asus 1155 nga mobo bro, pero mao japon kahinay..
I already tried replacing the sata cable wth brand new, ug try pud nako wla gamit converter sa sata power niya. - no luck, mao lang japon..
use other sata port - na try na pud nako ni...
try ACHI mode sa bios - i try pa nako..

2. Generic lang ako PSU(Zeno P4-600W) pero bag o pani bro and sa ako na observe ok raman sa ubang HDD sa ani nga set up ( sa amd ug sa i3)

3. If maka hatag kag link unsay pasabot ana zerofill/lowlevel format, i would appreciate it much, bro (ako pud ni i research)

wa jud ko gatan aw sa serial number bro, kay pag test namo, seagate ug wd raman naka attached sa iya pc, mao salig rako nga mao jud to nga hdd..igo ra nako gi tan aw ang health ug performance which is 100% ug ang S.M.A.R.T. nga tab....unya pag taud nako diri balay bro kay 100% man ang health ug performance pero pag try na nako install ug OS, didto na nakita nga pwerte jud hinaya..

based sa ani nga experience: naka ingon ko nga dili ka kompyansahan bisan perfect health and performance pa sa hdd sentinel..mas ok jud mo try copy/write sa hdd ug at least 1gb nga file before deal,,para makita jud ug normal ba ang write or read speed sa item. .gawas lang sa mga ilado nga trusted seller kay ok raman ko walay test test...

loose sata cable , nahugot njhud ni nimo brad? di kaha nadaot nang slot sa sata cable ani tarugonon.. naisolate na nimong power cable ug Sata cable?

hugot naman ang sata cable niya karon bro, ako man gi ilisan ug kato bag o jud...ang power cable pud kay WALA nako gamiti ug converter(kana ide to sata)...sata power cable jud directly from power supply mismo..

pero ako napud ni gi try as storage drive sa mga games ug movies (seagate 80gb ako gi-boot drive), hinay man japon kaayo mo copy ug files...
