Both. We could regard this people as "kapit sa patalim". They will do anything and take any chance they can get para lang makakwarta, and we can't blame them, sad but true, that's the real score in our society right now, di lang sa shows. In turn, these TV shows take advantage of this situations to boost up their ratings.

It works both ways. Nakatabang na sila, nitaas pud ilang mga ratings. It's a win-win situation for both ends, though murag mas dako ug igo ang mga shows.

I reality it is a win-win situation as yokam have said pero personally I hate to see it. It is in my opinion not a very responsible act done by BIG TV networks that they have to do this, they will do anything just to sell w/c is not really a very good motivation. my two cents

matod pa ni yokam, "taking advantage". mao gyud ako gihunahuna so nakatabang tuod sila pero insincere lang. basta magsakit akong dughan kay gihimong kataw-anan ang mga kabus.

pang-masa man na nga show so most contestants are masa.
dili lang sad unta nila i-exploit ug maayo kay bati na tan-awon.
instead of modayg ta kay nitabang sila maglagot na hinu-on ta.

Di sab ko ginahan mo tan-aw anang mga noontime show. maluoy ko magtan-aw sa mga tiguwang himuong kataw-anan. Gipahimuslan jud ang ilang pagkapobre.

for me, tabang man na. kay honestly, seeing them, i'm not at all entertained. forgive me for saying this, but sometimes, i think they've overdone it a bit na... hmm...
