Responsibilities
Programmer
- Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data and output requirements with analyst,supervisor and client.
- Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
- Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.
- Programs the computer by entering coded information.
- Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
- Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
- Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Ensures operation of equipment by following manufacturer's instructions;troubleshooting malfunctions;calling for repairs;evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Network Admin
- Install,configure,maintain and support the organization's local are network (LAN).
- Maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- Install, configure, and maintain physical servers and desktops.
- The network Admin provides a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing,diagnosing,repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
- The person will also troubleshoot problems areas (in person,by telephone,or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion,and provide end-user assistance when required.
