ako gi set ako router security to "WPA-PSK/ WPA2-PSK" then mag butang ko password.. then apply..

it's an IOS bug, problem sa ilang authentication
and safe to say nothing to do with the router
so this should be moved to the Apple forum

anyway, did a fix sa akong sister's iphone 5 kay nag reset sad siya sa password sa ilang router
then dili nasad na siya ka-connect.
came across a post from a forum (sorry can't remember and provide the link now)
pero in a nutshell here's what you should do

    - if Security nimo is "WPA-PSK/ WPA2-PSK" then Authentication nimo should be "WPA2-PSK"

kalimot ko sa brand sa akong sister's router pero naay Security and Authentication settings
kay sa akong Planex router Authentication raman.

Sir, try daw og "forget" or 'delete' ang network. Nya join again as fresh connection.
If pwede nimo ma-manual input ang network & password, mas maayo.

Try lang if this works for you.

sa kadaghan ani nga problem, daghan kaayo fixes put forward
some work for others, for others it won't
so i guess you have to try them all

anyway, tara diay ang post sa akong gi-follow before and worked with my sister's iphone 5
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread...rt=90&tstart=0

Type in router IP into address bar

    Select Wireless tab

    Select Security tab

    Security Mode > WPA/WPA2-Personal (PSK)

    Authentication > WPA2-PSK

    Apply Changes
    edit -

@jackdi: i tried that bro.. on my iphone, went to settings, general, reset, reset network settings.. same ra ghapon.. dli ka connect..
also tried to go to wifi and manually type the network and password and still no luck..
@janhenz1: sadly the router doesn't have an authentication.. it's only upto security mode then password..

also, was able to connect with my ipad..

    my delimma now is:
to factory reset my iphone (which is a hasle since i may lose some data/apps due to jb), or buy another router..

by the way, in our office and at my parent's house i am able to connect my iphone with cisco and linksys routers..

    hahaayy!!!

    Hi

Try daw ni. Basin imong router na full na ang allowed DHCP client. Usually by default of routers kay 32 ra allowed. Try increasing it lang daw. Or clearing the list.

For steps how to do that. Google lang kay mag dependi na sa imong router brand.

    Cheers
