Need Advise: Car or SUV?

Hi fellow istoryans!

I'm planning to buy a car and I am confused kung unsa jud akong paliton - car or SUV?
Ang akong paliton kay dili brand new since ang budget kay 250k ra ug dili ko ganahan ug multicab/scrums.
Mu matter sa akoa ang looks, overall condition and fuel consumption sa auto.

Mangayo unta ko ug advise/opinions ninyo mga bro ug sis.

think about unsay purpose nimo then unsa imung usual na agi-anan. if kailangan kag bigger space then maskusgan ug power take suv. pero kung gamay ra musakay or ikarga then dili kaayo ka tungas2x or offroading, ok ra ang auto.

suv...all the way...multi purpose...hadlok lang ang gasto kung madaut...

Kung kahibaw ka mo.repair or maskin basic lang like change oil, change brake pads/shoe then your 250k for an SUV kung naa or auv is a good deal na... Pero kung auto... Naay daghan... Pangita lang ug auto repair shop na ma saligan nimo da.an..

Pero to be safe for all occasions get an auv/SUV..... Kay naa koy corolla na 1.3 2E gas, Ug revo 2L diesel... Mas maka save ko sa revo... Both are in good condition ha.. These vehicles would somehow qualify with the budget that you have... Though I have to admit that kung Dili ko kahibaw mo.ayo gamay ug sakyanan.. Labad jud... Kay mag.anak.anak ang parts that need to be repaired or later replaced... But that is normal considering sa iyang gdugayon plus w&t..

And lastly look for a vehicle with lots of spare parts... Kay usually kung daghan, barato.... Good luck...

Purpose is mainly my personal use from work and home, and occassional laag during weekends/special events. Going to work, wala koy maagian nga offroads, but some humps diri sa MEPZ II. Sa balay, naay minor offroads but dili kaayo grabe. Tungason amoa gamay since its situated on top of a hill. Given these things, kaya raman ni both sa auto or SUV diba?

Most likely bro kay akong papa jud ang maka tabang ani kay siya man ang kahibaw about cars jud. Kahibaw sad siya ug basic trouble shooting. Pa tudlo lang ko niya if necessary.
Mao sad na ang advice sa akong papa, go for diesel daw kay save sa fuel. But I heard nga mas lisud/gasto daw iyang maintenence comapred sa gasoline engines?

Change oil ra jud every 3 months... Check and clean air filter every week or every other week... Para sa ako na ha... Wala man lingaw kung Sunday gud... Pero same man sad sa gasoline... Every 3 months man sad ko. Mas dako lang ang diesel kay 2.5L or 2.4L sa 2L... So more oil... The rest almost the same ra... Referring to good condition engines ha and it's maintenance...

Ma gasoline or diesel ts.. Naa ra jud na sa pag.atiman... Ang nakapabor lang jud sa diesel kay kung mag.aircon dili Utong.. So Dili kalas.. Ug ingkaso loaded Dili sad problema.. Kay high torque ug displacement... Pwede ra ka magdula sa menor from 700 to 800 rpm taasan ra gani ko sa 800...

Gasto kung overhaul... Tino.od mas dako ug gasto ang diesel.. Pero I'd rather buy a surplus engine, with the same model kay sa magpa.overhaul labi na ug general jud... Mao na check and double check kung unsa na vehicle imong paliton... Make sure naa jud parts available including body parts and mechanical..

One more thing... Consider ang baha ts... Lisod na... Hehehe

Nindot pud ang car if single pud ka and mas lighter and smaller compared sa suv.

Personally, ganahan ko ug auto kay pang akoa raman gud ang use ani. Mao pud lage na bro, if baha ang agianan, alkansi jud ang auto. Mao jud ni ang advantage sa SUVs para nako.

UPDATE:

Gusto man gud ko maghimo ug akong Project Car; mao nang gusto unta ko ug auto para daghan options and possibilities para modification. But now, murag na incline na akong huna² into buying an SUV/APV. Naa pa ba niy chance para madayun akong Project Car in an SUV/APV? Mas mahal na hinuon akong gasto ani?..
