Need help for my debit card

I recently opened an account with Metrobank and signed up with their debit card because i need to withdraw my paypal money to my bank account.

.. I added my bank account and I also my debit card to it.
But the problem comes when I verify my card so that I can link my debit card to my paypal account, an error appears saying "The Card Verification System used by PayPal is currently unavailable. Please try to add your card at a later time. We apologize for this inconvenience."

Two days later I recieved an email saying "You recently tried to pay with PayPal but the transaction was declined because your debit/credit card provider did not allow it to go through."

What does this mean? I need help..ill gladly appreciate it thanks!

Naglibog ko, you said na verified na imo Paypal account, pero ngano imo naman pud i-verify?

Anyway, if I recall correctly, Paypal was experiencing problems with their verification system but that was around mid-December, so I don't think wala pa na fix ang issue.

Mao ra ni ako ma huna-hunaan:

1) Do you have enough money in your account na naka link sa imo debit card? Paypal charges around PhP100+ (but i-refund ra nila later on) for verification, but some banks (not sure with Metrobank) charge a flat fee for each debit card transaction, so butangi ug maybe PhP200 imong account just to make sure.

2) Call Metrobank.

If wala sa imong end ang problem then basin naa gyud problem with Paypal. Try to send them an e-mail. Paspas raman sila mu reply.

sori2x..imean akong card wla p na verify...naa add n nko ako card pero verification ang nxt step..mag cge xa error until now..bcn wla p cguro na fix...

Try nalang pud ug tawag sa Metrobank, makaingon mana sila nimo ug nganong na reject ang transaction.

same experience. the answer is the bank does not accredited their debit to paypal. only credit card.

supported man gud sa paypal basta naa visa ug mastercard na logo.
for metrobank(METROPOLITAN BANK & TRUST CO --- 010269996).

pero akung nahibaw.an karon is naa issues ang paypal sa mga withrawals.

if union bank akong gamiton..mo verify kha ni even with the issues sa paypal?

unionbank ako gamit pagverify and dali ra kaayo I'm thinking ok siya if VISA imo debit.

unionbank eon nalang para wlay hasol. kahinumdom ko dapat naay sulod imo debit kay mucharge kunuhay ang paypal nimo para makuha nimo ang code then pwede rasad nimo kuhaon balik ang ila i charge nimo after ma verify.
