Need help on PC sometimes not booting, sometimes no display

Hi Istoryans,

I need your inputs regarding my problem.

Mao ni ang specs:

Mobo: ASUS P8H61-M
Processor : Intel G640
Memory : 2G Kingston (Kanang Naay heat spreader na blue)
HDD : 320G
VCard : Inno3d GT 220 1G
OS : 64bit Win 7
17" Philips LCD
Generic Case and PSU (kani ra brand new, all other are used ky hinatag ni siya)


My problem is naa times mo start ang pc but no display even sa bios.
My monitor will jus keep saying "adjusting" pero ang system unit kay mo turn on man. (With all the lights blinking, same sa kanang normal process ba.)
Then madugay cge ug turn off-turn on. Mo display na. And Mo display dayun na windows was not properly turned off need mag check disk etc.

So meaning sa katong times wa ni display possible ni boot si windows di lang nako makita. Then all went well na pud.

Then one time na abot sa point na di na pud siya mo display, so akong gi try gi remove ang VCard (with my cousin's help) then taod ang monitor sa built in sa mboard. Same scenario. Then all of the sudden kay di na bitaw mo turn on lahos. After turning on, mo tuyok kadali cpu fan then off na dayon.

So what we did kay gi pang tandog na mo tanan except sa cpu (remove hdd, ram, vcard) then taod balik. Naulian na pud, this happened 2 weeks ago. But then ganina, ni balik na sad tong di mo display. my screen just says "adjusting".

What might be the possible reason ani na problem?
Na try na diay namo use laen monitor.

^mga 2 mos pa man ang PSU sir generic lang but i'll try to grab another PSU sir pra maka test.

murag pareha2 tag blema nasugatan TS.
Try check daw imong HDD with HD sentinel basin low health na kaayo na.
HDD to blema sa ako in.ana pud nahitabo.

We did all that you have suggested and it turned out akong monitor ang defective.
I don't really don't understand how pero ang monitor man diay.
Libog lang ko kay ka 2 man ka monitor ang gitry last night.

1st working LCD monitor from another PC - no signal, same sa akong monitor.
2nd working LED monitor from another PC - ni gana man siya.

abi namo sa cable lang so gi interchange ang cables, wa gihapon mo gana.
Pero akong monitor defective jud guro ky maski sa laen pc di man mo gana.

Ask lang ko, why ang working (Philips) LCD monitor di man mo gana pero ang (AOC) LED ok man, compatibility ba kaha?
Marepair pa ba tong defective LCD monitor nako na Philips pud, no display? Or would you guys suggest buy na lang ko laen monitor rather than have it repaired?

gi test ninyo imo monitor sa lain na computer? kai based sa imo 1st test, imo man puter naa blema kung ingon ana na wala gihapon nigana bisan lain monitor gamit.

fix nani? naa pud possibility na ang video card ang deperenxa... naa ku hibaw an nga barato ra mu ayo ug pc.. i search lang ninyo sa google "tech4windows"..

What I meant sa kanang 1st ug 2nd sir is referring to the monitors we tried last night. First monitor tried and 2nd monitor tried.

sa una nako post sir, kato una nako experience ani murag pc ang problem.
Kay nag test man gud mig laen monitor ato na Working LCD (Philips pud).


Pero last night gi follow namo tanan suggestions ninyo (about PSU, VCARD, RAM, HDD) but wala man mo gana gihapon.
So we decided to try balik sa working Philips LCD, wala man gihapon. But nka huna-huna mig try ug LED monitor.
Ni work man siya sa LED monitor.

Turned on the PC with the LED monitor on, OK siya.
Then while turned on we disconnected the cable and tried directly using Working Philips LCD (no display).
Then gibalik ug taud ang LED monitor while turned on pa, mo display na jud siya.
Until ganina morning OK siya jud.

how many CPU u have ?

CPU1 = cousin PC

CPU2 = ur pc

CPU3 = other pc

CPU1 + Monitor B = run

CPU1 + Monitor C = not

furthermore,

CPU2 + Monitor A = run
CPU2 + Monitor B = run
CPU2 + Monitor C = not

and furthermore

CPU3 + Monitor A = run
CPU3 + Monitor B = run
CPU3 + Monitor C = not

CONCLUSION :

therefore, we can conclude ur Monitor C is deadz.

Solution:
have it checked and repaired @ MGE COmputers | fronting CIM | Velez , Ramos Cebu City

arguments :

known PF is PhP500 except parts , if cost worth more than 1.5k
patimbang ang monitor | BUY NEW ONE.
