...although it's not really necessary. The reason I said this is because the Activation Lock is only triggered by the "Find my iPhone" feature so you just need to turn it OFF before selling your iPhone. With "Find my iPhone" being OFF, the buyer can just easily restore the iPhone to Factory Defaults.

Then again, who would sell their iPhones without cleaning it first?
