NEED SUGGESTIONS: Affordable Gaming Laptop

1. What is your budget?

I am planning to get a laptop around December. I have no idea how much budget is needed for a gaming laptop since I am usually a PC gamer.
I am thinking of the budget around 25k-30k. ( I can stretch this if it is necessary or a must, otherwise I will stick with this budget)

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Any size will do as long as it fits my budget and needs.

3. What screen resolution do you want?
I will mostly be plugging this to a bigger monitor.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Definitely a desktop replacement laptop. At least it will match my current i3 3220 setup with a dedicated VC for gaming. It is a must since I love to play games.

5. How much battery life do you need?
To be honest I am not sure how to answer this. But this laptop will mostly be home rather than bringing it on a daily basis.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
YES! YES! I frequently play dota2, counterstrike, diablo 3 and the likes. Nothing too graphic intensive since I don't have a lot of time to play those games.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
It does not matter but it will help if it has an SSD. I loved having an SSD on my PC so having one on my laptop will be great! But if it goes beyond my budget then I will have to cut the SSD.

9. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
I want to keep it as long as I can. Like my old c2q q6600 cpu. (3 years plus) I currently have an i3 3220 as replacement to this old quad.

Please post suggestions that are available locally (CEBU) and if you know where I can purchase this laptop. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks ISTORYANS!

Kulang ra jud nang 30K para gaming laptop, TS... OK rana pang Dota2/CS kung naka GT640M nga Graphics pero those are usually in the 35K++ Range... unya ug mu tilaw jud kag mga newer games ma bitin jud ka...

ok ra pud nang 630m nga gpu for those games. pero medium settings ra. you'll need 650m for max settings. usually a combination of i3 cpu and 630m gpu ra mu range 25k to 30k. if i5 mulapas na 30k. daghan sa sm ingani nga combo.

Alright. I took some time to check sa SM kanina. Mao ni ako.a na kit.an nga mga gaming laptop. Murag dapat jud around 30-40k.
Please help me choose asa nindot ani.

* YES. coz of i5 3230m and 8750m gpu. can max settings for dota2.

* NO. not good for gaming coz of "U" processor and below entry-level 710m gpu. mas kusog pa ang intel hd 4000 nga internal gpu.

* YES. good i5 cpu and entry level 7670m gpu (same as gf 630m). medium to high settings dota2.

* NO. cpu below i3 cpu level. can be acceptable for gaming but not on other cpu intensive tasks. gpu crossfire is ok. medium settings dota2.

* NO. coz of "U" cpu and below entry level 720m gpu. settle to at least 630m or 730m.


if your budget is 30k to 40k na, then didto na lang ka sa msi ge60 naa sa sm cyberzone tupad sa smart. i think i5 3210m and gt 650m combo cost 40k if i am not mistaken. pero iorder pa nila from manila, just ask a sales person there.
