LIAR – EVIL : Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco

LIE : Tobias said on Twitter: “GAA Main Book 1,107 pages, Volume 1. 1,154
pages, Volume 2. 964 pages Total 3,225 pages. We were given 1 1/2 hours to read.”

    TRUTH :

THREE READINGS: Tobias was not entirely truthful when he said that they had only 1-1/2 hours to read the P2.268-trillion budget before it was passed with a vote of 219-22 without the Priority Development Assistance Fund, known as the pork barrel.

Note that the action was approval on third reading, meaning there were a first and a second reading. The budget measure was submitted by Malacańang to the House the day after President Noynoy Aquino delivered last July 22 his State of the Nation Address.

That means the budget bill was with the House for three months, during which time it should have been studied (not only read) by the congressmen, if they were conscientious with their job.

UNSAY BUHATON nato ni Tiangco? haha

LIAR – EVIL : Raul Hernandez (Spokesperson, DFA)
LIE : "The President has decided not to proceed ... taking into consideration China’s request for the President to visit China at a more conducive time". (He added that China had invited the Philippines to send a high-level delegation to the trade fair a few months ago. Mr Aquino said on Wednesday that he would go, but word came from China later in the day that he should not visit, Mr Hernandez said.)
TRUTH : "China never extended an invitation to the Philippine president" (China asks Philippines' Aquino to call off visit in apparent snub | Reuters)

LIAR – EVIL : Benigno Simeon "BS" Aquino III

LIE : Aquino said that he did not tackle the Luneta issue with Chinese. [Aquino also rejected a China News Service report that Li had told him to find a way to resolve the dispute, saying: “I didn’t talk to him about the Hong Kong issue.”]

TRUTH : Reply by Chinese embassy : Relevant remarks by the Philippine side is totally untrue. I have already briefed the journalists on October 11 about Premier Li Keqiang's short discussion with President Aquino on the Hong Kong hostage incident in Brunei on the sidelines of the meetings of East Asia Leaders in the VIP room of the venue. We once again urge the Philippine side to earnestly respect the feelings of the families of the victims, take this issue seriously and offer a fair and reasonable solution as soon as possible.

Whatever territorial rows the Philippines has with China is non sequitur.

So, what makes B.S. Aquino more trustworthy than the Chinese embassy?

Point: How would China benefit from lying about Premier Li's talk with Aquino about the Hong Kong issue. If it was true that both leaders did not talk about it in Brunei, why can't the Chinese government just re-issue a statement urging their Philippine counterpart of a solution to this issue?

Point: Benigno Simeon "BS" Aquino would benefit from lying about their talk in Brunei. It would make it seem that his Chinese counterpart does not take issue with his handling (or lack thereof) of the the Luneta crisis.

Asa naman tong neutral bai? Ha. Ha.

Unsa man sad reason to distrust the Chinese embassy? Don't muddle the issue by bringing up the territorial dispute when even the president's side did not bring that up knowing that it's simply not true.
