bro, kung na try na ni nimo tanan

    like:
    laptop1 example: IP 192.168.10.1
    laptop2 : 192.168.10.2

sa vista i ryt click ang networkplaces then sa left side e click na ang "manage your network"

nya na disable na nimo ang firewall on both pc. try kuno to ping
for example if your using laptop1 try typing this command at the command prompt: ping 192.168.10.2
if there's a reply meaning connected ka. And try to share your drive C: para makita na ang imong XP sa vista vise versa

    hope it helps
