Did I make the right decision?

Currently, I'm working in the private industry. With a salary of 15 thousand pesos.

Recently, I was offered for a job in the government agency as a contractual personnel. They say that there will be no assurance that if ever I will receive the offer, I will be a regular employee. The salary is 10 thousand. When I heard that there is no assurance nga ma regular ko, I was turn down kay sa akong current work sa private industry, naa may assurance nga maregular ko.

Ako sang gi kwenta ang sa salary side. If akong dawaton ang offer nga 10 thousand a month, maglisod jud ko kay gaabang ra man gud ko diri sa Cebu. 3 thousand akong bayranan including ang sa part sa akong igsoon(ako namay gabayad sa iyaha).

So, wala nako dawata ang sa goverment offer for some reasons:
1. walay assurance nga ma regular ko even if civil service professional ko. (that's what the interviewer has said)
2. low salary for the fact nga naa koy mga bayranan.


according pod sa mga ga interview, mura ra daw ug wala sa government department ga work ang madawat kay agency ra may ga handle. kanang ilang gitawag ug service bureau maoy mo handle sa madawat. no work no pay and naa kunoy instances nga bisag ga render ka ug overtime, wa kunoy overtime pay(that's what they said).

enjoy man pod ko sa akong trabaho ron kay in line man sa akong kurso ang trabaho.

sa imong gipangsulti kay wala jud kay giingon nga positive sa government job. so nganong nagduhaduha pa man ka? ngano naglibog man ka if sakto imo gibuhat? unless naay something na wala nimo gisulti. like daghan extra money sa government job?

mao sad lagi akong concern boss.
kay kasagaran man gud, moingon sila nga in terms of job security and stability, nindot kuno ang government. but sa akong na realize from the interview, agency man gud kono ang mo handle sa ma hire and walay assurance nga ma regular ko.

Way back katong akong first job, 3 months pa jud ko ato (contractual status sa private company), getawagan ko sa ATO (now CAAP). Dawat na daw ko sa offer sa Airfield Power Technician, automatic regular position pero gamay ang sweldo kay 6000+ ra. Ge encourage ko sa HR Manager nga dawaton kay since PRC licensed manko, dako ang chance paspas akong promotion.

Wala nako gedawat kay sa akong work at that time, bisan contractual pako kay 8000 ako salary, plus OT, maka net salary ko ug 6-7k per 15 days.

Actually, months after that kay dako akong pagmahay... Kay nagka walay ayo akong trabaho / position company ato. After a few months, wala nami OT2x... tag 6k per month net nalang among sweldo.

Pero in my present point of view, dili man jud total loss akong choice ato... Kay okay raman pod akong kahimtang karon 10 years later.

Sa imong side, murag bati. Kay agency man diay na imoha, dili direct hire... unya wala pa jud sure madawat or ma regular ka. So okay ra.
