everybody lies for good or for bad... govt. sumtyms needs to lie so the people will be guided according to peace & order, media lies for the good of network, even church people lies for the sake of humanity.

A white lie is when a lie is more charitable than the truth
or so to protect the innocent. So, it is not sayop.
The typical example is the "I have Jews in my attic when the Nazis knock on the door" scenario.

Just make sure that what you did is really a white lie,
or just an alibi para di ka masakpan sa imong uyab or ginikanan.

yeah the Jews and Nazi scenario would probably the best example of a white lie..
in most recent times..some poeple would justify their lying as "white lies" when they're actually plain lies.

it's better to avoid circumstances/conversations that would cause us to lie. may it be white or just plain lies.
