    I cant really say that what Mark Solis did was imitation but what do you call the act of getting someone's belongings without permission, well in mark solis' case taking sole credit and ownership? isnt that stealing?

    Plagiarism is downright imitation PLUS taking ownership of something not his. Yes, that's stealing, as discussed also in the article above.
