Developing Gadgets for the Windows Vista Sidebar
Windows Sidebar Gadgets are lightweight programmable objects that provide real-time, always-available access to information from a web service or application. This session will introduce you to the purpose of the Windows Sidebar, goals of gadget development and the methods you can use to develop gadgets for Windows Sidebar. We'll walk you through how you build a gadget using HTML and JavaScript. IT Pros are welcome as this will include a simple demo on using WMI.
