Default Gamecock Pellets for Guinea Pigs?

Hi all! I've heard from quite a few sources now (here and abroad) that Fighting Cock pellets are more or less ACCEPTED as an additional supplement to go with Guinea Pig food. Of course, they are supposed to primarily eat food specifically made for GPs in order to cater to their specific dietary needs (they are unable to produce their own Vitamin C etc)

I'm wondering how many of you out there also feed Gamecock pellets to your piggies--I hear popular choices are Stag Developer for GPs aged 2-5 months old and tiny amounts of Calf Mana (which isn't technically Gamecock pellets) mixed into the Guinea Pig food itself for older GPs.

If you use Gamecock pellets, share your tips & advice here! You can also let me know if you think it's a bad idea & why, haha; advice is always welcome.
