ask ko'g inputs ninyo before ko mo go sa purchase... pa ma lamdagan akoang pangisip... charing... bwehehehe...

my application is only for gaming... nothing else... current mobo kay Asrock Z77 Professional, mem: 16 GB Avexir Core series DDR3 1333 MHz, CPU cooling system: Antec Khuler H2O 920 (currently not installed kay waiting ni sya for the "K" CPU) and GPUs: GTX 670 SLI... power provided by a Corsair TX750W PSU...

mao ni sila akoang gi pilian w/ the corresponding prices diri:

> SB i5-2550K... priced at 7.5K php equivalent
> IB i5-3570K... priced at 9.7K php equivalent

kay lagi, ang gamit ani, duwa-an ra man, mas inclined ko to purchase the cheaper CPU among the two choices... i may upgrade the ram modules though to accommodate the OC'ing setting... patay na bitaw ning LGA 1155 so, no need for me to plan for future proofing... hehehe

unsa inyohang ma comment ani? both negatives and positives are all welcome... let us shoot the stars... hehehe...

i5-3570k

i got a friend, who clocked it up to 4.982 (hapit na mo hit ug 5.0) using only his corsair h80i. That was last june during the ccx event. Sadly, my i7 was only able to reach 4.8. Pildi ko..daug siya ug cm seideon 120 hehe

ah i see... lain2x man gud ug response ning individual CPUs... pero, naka daog man gihapon ang rig nmo ug GPU dba? nice kaayo to na event... wala lang ko maka timing during my short vacation... if naka timing ko sa dates, tan-aw gyud unta ko sa exhibit...

i5-3570k kay native sa IVY bridge ang 1600mhz nga RAM modules.. then easy pud ang OC, though dli cya needed for gaming.. pero the new technologies offered by a new processor should be enough reason to buy the new processor.. hehehe.. nya Personal rule lang gyud para naq is to " Always buy the Tic version not the Toc"

agree. lain lain jud ni sila ug kina-iya, but for me lng ari ko sa i5-3570k, i5-2550k is ok, and does well but naay gamayng edge ang i5-3570k

@LordZhen lahi rah gyud kaau ang i7 sa i5 in terms of overclocking sah.. gamay rah maabot sa i7 compared to i5.. I once OCed an i5-3570k to 3.85mhz.. pero d naq kaya sa i7 with hyperthreading on.. try naq sa i7 hyperthreading off kay nka.oc q 4.8~ pero stable for 4 hours rah.. sa i5 kay 24hours stable wala palung2... Noctua NH-C14 aq gamit ato + Testbench..

Get lang the i5-3570k boss lloyd.. at least mas kampante ang upgraditis nga dli m.tukar..hehehe

Agree ko, mas capable maka o.c ug taas ang i5 sa i7. And yes much better i5-3570k kay basin you are looking more of a punch, atleast dili naka maka ingon, maypa i5-3570k nlng instead of i5-2550k if mutukar ang upgraditis
