it's pretty much the same as any smartphone like voyager (SAP2).. the capabilities of the phone book are rich, there is an optimized contact search.. as for functionality of other built-in applications, it's quite sufficient, some exterior applications can help (freeware very often), that's the advantage of smartphones against ordinary phones..

you mean "O2 Xda Atom"?? this is new and upcoming model:
It shares almost similar dimensions as the O2 Xda II mini but offers onboard Wi-Fi connectivity, an upgraded 2-megapixel camera, an integrated FM radio and runs on the new Windows Mobile 5.0. However, the upcoming O2 Xda Atom looks more like the successor model to the popular Xda II mini PDA-phone than the QWERTY-enabled Xda Mini Pro we reported earlier.
    Upside:
Like the Xda Mini Pro, the key feature of the Xda Atom is the onboard Wi-Fi connectivity, which frees up the media card slot for additional memory storage capacity. The onboard flash ROM has also been increased to 128MB, though the Intel 416MHz processor remains the same as the earlier mini.
Additionally, O2 has bumped up the sensor resolution of the integrated digital camera from the current 1.3 megapixels on the Xda II mini to 2 megapixels, and throw in a strobe flash, an FM tuner, a 262k-color QVGA screen and Windows Media Player 10 appplication to add to the whole multimedia PDA-phone experience.
However, the most amazing thing about the Atom is how O2 has packed all its new and upgraded functions into a compact form factor that's surprisingly even smaller than the Xda II mini. The Atom measures 102 x 58 x 18.5 mm compared with the mini's 108 x 58 x 18.1 mm. Both handhelds sport similar clean design styles with rounded edges. So the best way to differentiate between the two is the color. The Atom is dressed in chic black while the mini is in silver.
In addition to the new Windows Mobile 5.0 OS, the Atom will feature O2 MediaPlus, which the company claims is the first media center application designed for a PDA-phone. This will give users easy access to music, video and photos via a single common interface.
    Downside:
For the "ultimate media junkie", the onboard 416MHz processor may be the bottleneck if you intend to run multiple multimedia applications on the handheld. Battery life may be an issue due to the power-guzzling applications and it's not known if the battery is removable. We were also unable to confirm the type of memory card slot on the Atom at press time but are crossing our fingers that it's the Secure Digital (SD) and not the miniSD format as found on the Mini Pro.
