Happening now at Lapu-lapu City and the Queen City of the South is the biggest contact center conference and expo in the world. The International Contact Center Conference and Expo 2013 is being help, for the first time, outside of Metro Manila since its inception in 2005. Organised by the Contact Center Association of the Philippines or CCAP, the three day event will be help at the Shangri-la Mactan and Raddison Blu.
As she delivered her welcome address, Lapu-lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza said that there are now 15 Contact Centers located in her city.
Mayor Mike Rama, during his welcome address, mentioned that Cebu is making waves in the world stage as it now ranks
#8 in the world's top contact center destinations according to Tholon's.
CCAP President Benedict Hernandez says that the industry organization chose Cebu as it is one of the brightest spots in the contact center industry. "Cebu has much to offer by way of its talented and friendly people, modern infrastructure, and sound business climate." Hernandez explains.
ICCCE has gathered thousands of contact center professionals including global executives, country managers, operations heads, HR directors, IT managers, industry analysts, and business reporters among others. With a hundred speakers, panelists, and facilitators, ICCCE is considered to be the largest contact center industry event in the world.
CCAP Events and Membership Committee Head and ICCCE chair Raffy David says - "We always strive to trump our previous events, which is why ICCCE has only grown in scale, reach, and influence year after year.".
This year's theme is "Where the World Meets the Philippines" reflecting the Philippine contact center's position as the world's top destination for outsourced voice services. ICCCE focuses on the Philippines as a source of best practices, insights, and expertise for contact center operators here and abroad to learn from.
The ninth run of ICCCE features new formats, including an expanded CEO forum, master classes, and workshops aimed at increasing engagement among delegates expected to come from all over the world. CCAP Executive Director Jojo Uligan says - "ICCCE has become an industry institution that decision makers and stakeholders look forward to attending. We continue to innovate and always offer something new year after year."
