Soliciting Ideas for the Current Manila Floods

If you guys have any out-of-the-box ideas that you would want to suggest for solving the floods happening in Metro Manila, please post them here.

I, for one, would like to propose this although on a wider and much, much larger scale:

Sus kung makadungog pud mo sa mga utok sa mga Tagalog is something happens in Mindanao or even Visayas. Like the Sendong disaster:

" Dapat lang yan sa mga taga Mindanao, para tapos ang gulo"
" Nasa Manila tayo, ba't tutulong pa tayo sa mga Terorista?"
" Ayan, san na ang Allah ninyo? "

By the way, Mindanao is 85% Christian, and less than 10% muslim, with the growing number of Athiests.

on a personal level, i'd buy a lot/house&lot in an elevated place...
since you'll have a hard time looking for one in manila, a condo would suffice...

if you can check malaysia's tunnel system, you'd have a good idea on what would be a GREAT flood plan...

pero come to think of it, it happens too in the whole country...so, no one is exempted which therefore takes the "they deserve..." part of it...
