enable -> allows your cpu to run at lower speeds (2.8ghz) when the cpu is running hot or idle.
disable -> runs at the rated speed.

obviously will save power consumption when enabled...don't know by how much...

@weezur right that is one advantage pero k lang cguro bro kai di man ni laptop ako-a desktop man, what i learned that speedstep tech. originally base sa laptop to save battery, pero ila naman ni gi dala sa desktop so power saving is not a big issue anymore. well thanks bro
