Donations and Pledges
Sylvan "Jack" Jakosalem has been left paralyzed from a recurrence of Neurocysticercosis -- a parasitic infection of the brain. After falling into a coma, several surgeries, and being confined at the Intensive Care Unit of a local hospital for months, the overwhelming emotional and financial strain of Jack's ordeal has shattered his life and that of his family's.
This plan will begin to consolidate all activities and events aligned for the effort to help raise funds for Jack's continuing battle with his illness, and his recovery. It is through close collaboration with individuals, partners and groups involved that these events will be realized.
Background
Jack Jakosalem began his career in media in the 1980's as a radio announcer for pioneering local FM station Y101. 'Jack the Wack' was known for his intelligence, sharp wit, and natural talent for capturing his listeners. These qualities not only captured his career as a DJ, but he wont on to help shape Cebu's party and music scene, and to influence a whole generations of Cebu's best radio talents.
In addition: he was Councilor and Citom Chairman for Cebu and has helped this City in many ways.
