anyone out there still playing Final Fantasy XII?

guess i was too late to resurrect this thread but that's because i finished the game just yesterday 100%...

yup...100%..meaning unlocking all espers, all marks, all rare games, completed beastiary, obtained every equipment...etc...
it took me half a year (not playing straight of course! like maybe around 8 hours per week)! this game is a PAIN if doing a completionist run...

the most annoying part in the game is Yiazmat with 50 Million (!) Hit Points....that battle makes you insane...took me 4 hours!

well...ignoring those annoyances this games is fantastic!

the reason i really liked the game is because it isn't turn-based...the combat is real time resembling that of an MMORPG like WoW...
the storyline is different too and is more mature (no more angsty teen love plots and cliched anime stories! YEHEY!)

i still consider Final Fantasy 6 and 4 the best in the series though...

...legit copies of the game are rare here in cebu...there's no other choice but to borrow/ order in manila or play-asia.com...

OR you may go to those stores that sell it at a price 20 times cheaper..hehe...

yeah i do agree that its difficult at first...but it may grow on you..

pero naay uban nga dili gyud ma-anad sa playing style...like my friend who says its the worst RPG cause naglisod cya and na-anad cya ug mga FPS like Counter ug Halo...

well it all boils down to taste and preference...i prefer RPGs over FPS/TPS....

estimated 200 hours....pero dili sad kana akong gi duwa noh....ma buang mad sad ta ana...

like i play elder scrolls oblivion in between or God of War 2...just to break the monotony...

...i kinda agree that the characters are kinda lame/boring but this game just reminds me of FF6...my fav FF of all time (i dunno why...)

theres no PC version of X and XII...its meant to be played on a console

7 and 8 were exceptions and there were poorly executed on the PC...the game was not made for the PC in mind
