In every game, we all do have traditions or practices that we follow as form of a routine before we execute an action to get good results. Just like our favorite basketball players, they also do have these routines especially before they execute a free throw. These may be odd for us but surprisingly, they get close to perfect free throws and rarely do they miss!
One of the famous routines is Michael Jordan's signature tongue-sticking-out before a free throw. Who wouldn't forget this? Hehehe
To catch more players and their idiosyncrasies in the court, here is a YT video that you might wanna check out
Jason Kidd - flying kiss
Karl Malone - chanting to himself
Ric Hamilton - bounces ball forward twice then he brings it to the side
James - bends so low on both legs
Jeff Hornacek - touches his right side of his face
Alonzo Mourning - touches his chin and forehead with his wristband
Gilbert Arenas - puts the ball behind his back three times
Now, for those who got game, what's your FREE THROW ROUTINE?
In my case, I had a semblance of Jordan's tongue-sticking-out
routine but I tend to linger my tongue on the upper lip til I throw
the ball..
