    Want to do overclocking? but on a tight budget (cant afford a good z87 board)? hmmm
    This isnt new. Gi-announced nani sa asrock weeks before, but today, nakikisabay na ang gigabyte and biostar.

    I assume there's a catch. Disabled gihapon siguro ang bclk strap kay if pwede pa, ma-OC na pud hasta mga non-K cpu.

    ana jud na. the 1st gen intel is still the best era for overclocking. Where have those days gone by? and Intel WTF! Kung mag overclocking nlang AMD is always the best option for overclocking enthusiast who want to see a chip to be at its limit.

    I would. A lot of people would OC cheaper SKUs if naay paagi.

    @senpai91
    The prescott era was the best overclocking era for me. 100% overclocks were all over the place then.

    Back in the day, you can overclock a cheaper/low speed processor to a high speed one for a lesser price. I can build a rig for half the price of much expensive one for the same performance. Mao nay naka attract nako nga magtuon ug overclock. Now you have to spend for an unlocked intel processor to overclock. Overclocking is now exclusive for those who got big pockets which is bull crap. I paid for it, maskin low-end na nga procie, I have every right to play with it not bound by limits. So any chance of overclocking a non-k "fully" ( you can partially oc it on Ivy, now it's fully locked on haswell ) I'll dive straight in. Main reason I'm sticking with AMD.

    @Sempron Guy, you got that right. Intel now is for the few and not for the mass. Basin na kwaan ilang market sa higher specs nga product kay tungod nga most consumer would spend on a lower product then overclock it well for experienced users that is. maong maka ambot nalng jud ning intel karon, yeah you can buy an unlocked multiplier but at cost of temperature when overclocking and the cost it self which is so "Damn High!" Ivy and Haswell aren't good for overclocking since temps can easily go as high as fuc|< dam!
