    The CBM ASEAN Tourism Congress
June 14-15, 2007, Cebu International Convention Center

In January 2007, global attention was riveted on Cebu as it played host to the heads of state of the 10-member ASEAN. Featured in international media, Cebu showed the world the natural beauty of the islands, its rich cultural heritage and tradition, its bustling economy, and the warm hospitality of its people. With the Cebu International Convention Center and its first-rate hotels and resorts, Cebu hopes to establish itself as the “Emerging Convention Center in Asia.”

Senior executives from leading tourism, travel, convention, and exhibition organizations as well as government and media organizations focusing on tourism will converge in Cebu to discuss strategic issues such as country and regional branding and promotions, facilities marketing and management, air travel, “coo-petition,” and, best practices.
