    Default Utah Jazz

I think the Jazz did a tremendous job this season with their deep playoff run. Who would've guessed that this young team would even make it this far. The future does seem bright for this team.

As their postseason starts, there were a few calls made by Williams and Boozer about some players not having that "championship" mentality and instead we're virtually on vacation already. Who do you think these guys are? If trades were to be done, who would it be for whom?

For me, I think trading Okur, AK47, and maybe a pick or 2 for perhaps Pau Gasol, Rashard Lewis, or even Garnett should be considered by the Utah management.

if dallas made it past the first round, the results might have been a little different. still, a great season by the jazz, especially for deron williams who broke out of his shell in this season's playoffs.

ideally, the best deal they could get would be kevin garnett. sending out kirilenko for either gasol or lewis would leave a very big void for the jazz defensively. but taking garnett would not be feasible for the jazz.

if i were to trade players for the jazz, i'd send okur somewhere else for marcus camby. the jazz will have more inside presence, and have someone to throw to tim duncan or amare stoudemire

I beg to disagree. About the big void defensively. The reason I mentioned Kirilinko is because of Millsap, who is very good defensively. He might not ba a shotblocker like AK47, but he is closely efficient in guarding his man.

three jazz players face uncertainty for the 2007-08 season: rafael araujo, dee brown, cj miles

criticisms hit the jazz after badly losing game 5 to the san antonio spurs. deron williams and carlos boozer questioned the quality of the other jazz's players play in game 5. though both of them never gave any names, it seems they meant mehmet okur, andrei kirilenko and gordan giricek. okur, kirilenko and giricek's numbers have declined in their series against the spurs
