    as a spectator:

    1. Showdown, sa Sacred Heart 1991... first concert I paid for and watched ever... After that night, i started dreaming of becoming a musician...

    2. There was a concert at UP Multi-Purpose Hall at around 1994.. It featured a Manila-Based band named Poppy Field and they used to be known as Sonic City Zoo. They played Jane's Addiction covers, a version of The Cure's Hanging Garden and a few of their songs... Such a headtrip..Also, it was the first time I saw 40 the Band with Tenggoy as their singer.. Man, they played the meanest Pearl Jam covers around...

    3. First ever reggae gig i saw.. it was the first bob marley day celebration on Artist Dais featuring last leaf and raw belief.. Since that night, i wanted to play for a reggae band..

    4. First time I saw E heads play at the Aznar Coliseum! We made it all the way to the front row!! Raymund Marasigan actually did sing/rap that night.. It was indeed a sign of things to come...

    5. UP Fair, Sunken Gardens, Feb 14, 1997, first time I saw P.O.T., Sugar Hiccup and Indio I perform.. It was the very first gig i watched in manila... Indio I and POT haven't released albums yet at that time...

    6. Rage Against The Machine, July-August, 1997, need I say more??

    As a Performer:

    1. SRA's first Ever Gig! Day before Sinulog at the ORIGINAL ZZUBU BAR near SM City!! 1995!! Stoned Magellans, Aliwas, Dr. Wakwak.. etc.. Definitely A BIG MILESTONE in Cebuano punk history.. The longest-running, most succesfull and non-profit production was born that day and to this day, i'm very proud to have performed in it..

    2. My very first out of town gig EVER at San Francisco Camotes with ! we performed together with SATI.. hehehe..

    3. First time i ever played in Cagayan.. i played with a reggae band called THE LAST JUDGES.. Hehehe... Last Leaf members plus 13 Judges members. chopsuey lineup.. hehehe... i was asked to fill in for their drummer for one of the two gigs there.. since then, i've been back to cagayan many times and i've always loved it there.. it's such a wonderful city..

    4. My first ever session gig with a manila based reggae band... It stretched for 5 days.. It was my first trip to BORACAY!! FOR FREE!! Hehehe.. SUCKERS! hahaha..

    5. The same session gig culminated with my very first performance in Manila via the PULP SUMMER SLAM!!!

    6. Marikina Riverbanks, 2002, first time i ever played in manila with my former band.. WE PLAYED OUR OWN SONGS! it was such a great feeling to feel accepted for playing your own stuff..

    saw:

Switchfoot in Newcastle in 2003 for 2 nights in a row. they were awesome! that time, i didn't even know they had a filo bandmember. The Lads (NZ band) did the front-act.

Vanessa Mae, Opera House in 2004. she had very fast and accurate fingers!

The Idea of North in 2005, Newcastle and Sydey, twice on different ocassions. Australia's premier acapella quartet with 2 males & 2 females. if you guys are fond of acapella music, they're a must-have! Take Six takes numero uno on my list tho.

    played with/during/at/for:

    NAMCYA, 1999, Manila. tough one!

MalacaƱang with the Peace Philharmonic Philippines. 2 different occasions, 2 different Presidents.

Cultural Center of the Philippines with the Peace Philharmonic Philippines. circa 2000

Alexandru Tomescu, a Romanian violin superstar, Intramuros circa 2002

Commonwealth Games, St. Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne, 2006

Dallas Brooks Hall, Melbourne, a massive Masonic Hall. being inside was very memorable for me.

Fiddler On The Roof with the Sydney Male Choir at the Sydney Town Hall in 2006. was an honour.

Asean Summit, Shangrila Mactan. they felt honoured! *kidding
