Ipad Mini vs. Nexus 7, help please

I'm planning to buy my first tablet. Mangayo ko ug hinabang sa mga owners dinhi sa Nexus 7 or Ipad Mini. I'm torn between the two devices.

Ipad Mini seems to be the more stable (and consistently faster) device (based on the reviews), especially when it comes to browsing. But murag boring ra kaayo ug interface ug dili ta pwede maka-torrent. Ingon daw nila naa daw torrent client para sa iOS but kinahanglan daw ijailbreak. Ang akong pangutana sa mga iOs users, maka-negatively affect ba ang jailbreaking sa performance inyong idevice? Maka-affect ba sa iyang smoothness, battery life, ug overall stability?

Nice pud ang Nexus 7 kay dali ra ma-grip ang iya form-factor ug mas functional ang Android. Maka-torrent man tingale diretso even without rooting (sakto ba ko mga Android users?). Ang ako lang concern kay daghan reports na ang Android, magkahinay kung magkadugay, ug mas kusog mukaun ug battery life? tinuud ni sya mga Android users? Mu-deteriorate ang performance sa Android overtime? Ug nasulayan nako iyang browser (chrome) murag choppy man gamay ang pag-scroll sa web pages ug na dili mao pagka-render. Ingon anah jud na sya ang android na browsers or ang chrome ra to?

Help me mga kaigsuunan. I personally would have gone for a Surface pro galing lang wala koy kwarta. haha

if you have an android phone, go for ipad mini, pero if you dont have an android device, then must have ang Nexus 7.

re: torrent, yes readily available na siya even without rooting. re: batt life, normal gadget today, maski Ipad Mini if power user ka kalas gyud batt dali ra gyud malowbatt pero solution sa lowbat kay daghan barato power bank so addressable rana nga problema. And regarding mo deteriorate overtime? dili ang android OS, pero ang hardware specs (since disposable na mga gadgets karong panahona)

id go for a nexus 7... wla koi ipad mini, but my gf has the ipad 4... and i always use it.. i found it so boring when im using the ipad... wala koi nakita nga interesting.. except sa lte connectivity nga paspas kaayo... but then... wala pako ka try ug android tab.. but i was longing for this nexus 7... but wala lang ko nagpalit coz i cant see the use of it para nako.. mas nalingaw pako sa ako android phone.. customizing it as much as i can...

Thanks for the your input Sir. Windows Phone user ko actually. I have very limited experience with Android and iOS. Ako untang plano all-around media device ang tablet para pang email,text,call na lang ang phone na ko para mu-last ang battery life.

Efficient ba ang power banks Sir? Karun pa ko kadungog anah. If maayo ni sila, I'll consider buying one of those Exynos-poweredd Chinese tablets na lang kay murag pildihun man nila ang performance sa Nexus, ang ila lang battery life ang problema kay 3-4 hours ra ang daw ang dagan bisan browsing ra.

I've tried using the demo device sa Apple Store ganiha, and yes, murag boring jud ang interface sa Ipad (mas nalingaw pa ko sa windows phone), but nice kaayo ang browsing experience kay paspas ug walay sayop sa rendering. Ang Nexus 7 pud akong nasulayan sa Silicon Valley (or Octagon man tingale to, kalimot ko). Nice og very customizable kaayo galing lang mu-lag usahay ang Chrome ug naay sayop pag-load na elements sa websites

agree q ni madmike, if naa nka android phone then go for ipad mini.. aq nabantayan lng sa ipad mini/ipad 2 since same specs rana cla, if mu gamit ka google chrome nya multiple tabs na kay mu hinay kay tungod cguro 512mb ram ra, naa sad q Nexus 7 nya mas mka handle ug multiple tabs sa google chrome hehe.. pero mao rana nuon, if gaming kay mas kusog ghapon ang ipad mini.. pero tanan aq needs sa tablet kay na hatag ra sa Nexus 7 nq, so satisfied kaayo q sa aq nexus..nya hapit nasad ang update na Jellybean 4.3 so basin naay daghan improvement ang nexus 7..

7-8 hours man cguro to aq na sulayan, if mga website na heavy sa images ug video contents, etc.. kung wla nay undangay ug gamit ha.. hahaha, pero permi mani mu last a day aq nexus sahay gani 1 and half day pa mu last before q mu charge, dpende rana sa imu needs..

medyo tinoud sad to imu gi mention na mu hinay ika dugay.. mga 3months kapin nani aq nexus 7, mka feel q gamay na delay na sa pag open ug apps, pero dli kaayo sya grabe, ok paman ghapon..

using my nexus 7 as comic / ebook reader then permi download hd movies mura na noon ug torrent rig... so far wala man ni hinay2x ang performance...

para nq TS, sa karon na month ug upcoming months, if aq naa sa imu lugar.. since medyo techie kunohay q, dli q mu palit na ug Nexus 7 ron kay naa mga padung bag.o models ug diffrent brands na mu labaw na sa nexus7 nya sa same price range ra..
