ang Intel, wala gyud sila'y dag-anan sa "IP" sa AMD in terms of GPU design... timing kaayo na gipalit sa AMD ang ATI para ma ilaha ang IP...

kun ang Intel ug Nvidia mag merge, nindot kaayo ni na kumbate gyud... hehehe... sus, before the release of the "Kepler", lugi ra ba kaayo ang Nvidia... mura'g nag ibid2x ang Intel ato nila... kay kun ibaligya, aw, spank dayon...

Nvidia and Intel isn't exactly in good terms since the chipset dispute. And nvidia is pushing it's ARM processor to desktop soon.

if wla pa mag need ug money ang company, dili gyud na ibaligya... if need na nila na i-buy-out, bisan pa contra nla ang mopalit, baligya lang gihapon na sila did2 sa BOD... depende na if 100% shares ang ibaligya or certain percentage lang... ang naa'y pinaka dako ug share, mao na ang dako'g tingog sa corporation ug sa board...

bisan pa contra sila then mapalit... let say, mapalit sa intel and Nvidia (again, example lang ni ha), ang ARM processor pwede ra na ipadayon or pwede pud patyon... but ang technology, pwede na nla gamiton sa lain...

classic example ani... gi palit sa Nvidia ang Ageia as well as their Physx Technology (PPU) ... then gi patay sa Nvidia ang original PPU then gi implement nila ang PhysX computation sa ilahang GPU through the use of the CUDA cores... but gi retain nila ang IP... Intellectual Property w/c is the "people behind" but for sure ang uban, gi lay-off sa Nvidia... unya, wala na nila gi supportahan ang AMD GPUs na maka gamit ug PPU or Nvidia GPU for PhysX... but, gihimo-an ug workaround ni sa gaming community... we all know this... "Hybrid-PhyX"... hehehe...

Ako, im not hoping for Intel to improve on the IGP side. Lower consumption is where the money is at right now. That is what i am hoping for with Tegra though. But for the 2 giants to reach a compromise, very possible but i would not hope for it too. This is like Pacquiao-Mayweather. As long as they are earning enough. But when one or both are on the way down, most likely the odds go higher.
