sorry to comment here sir/mam but they do belong to the wild... trading birds of prey such as a brahmmy is something that I am strongly against... this post of mine may solicit hostile replies for me but I stand firm on my ground, they belong in the wild.

its nice to know that somehow you are able to release some in the wild... I admire you for that and I will take your words... many has a lot of papers/permits from the DENR but usually its for profit not for conservation purposes...

in releasing, yes you have helped somehow... but by selling one, its another story...

I hope you make this one as your advocacy... teach and educate people about brahhmy's and other birds of prey...

i am sorry to question this and with all due respect to the thread starter, may i know what type of papers do you have for this bird? A Farm permit or a CWR? Coz as far as i have heard and known from Sir Kid Iray (though he recently retired) who is the Chief inspector of DENR PAWZZMS , no facility in the Cebu province known by the DENR has been able to breed this species, the one facility that was almost able to do so was the facility owned/ managed by the previous Chief Donner Kho but was also closed.

get yourself accredited by the DENR (though its not an easy process) then thats the time where you can own a wild animal. You've got every reason to be afraid if you dont coz i have personally seen several DENR sequestrations, though conditions can be mitigated if you know people from the Department.
