Call of Duty: Ghosts Accidentally Revealed? - IGN
British retailer Tesco might have just accidentally outed the next Call of Duty game subtitled.
That's according to a product listing on Tesco Direct (the retailer's online presence). This would tally with recent reports that the next instalment in the hugely-successful franchise would be subtitled 'Ghosts', which came from YouTube user
Drift0r.
The listing also features credible box art bearing the Infinity Ward logo. The Infinity Ward studio previously worked on the tremendously popular 'Modern Warfare' entries in the long-running franchise. This would make sense since last year's Black Ops II was made by Treyarch. Has the Modern Warfare title been dropped following the high-profile departure and out-of-court settlement with Jason West and Vince Zampella.
The page also has a release date of December 31st – if correct, this would be unusual for the shooter which typically launches in early November. We expect it's just a placeholder.
