why dvi connector on lcd shows text which is not crisp?

good day istoryans, i recently bought a samsung syncmaster 940bw lcd monitor. its a 19 inch widescreen with 4ms response time. i paired it with my 8800gts. im satisfied with its performance but theres one thing im confused about.
i know that dvi offers better image than analog... but i noticed that when i use dvi, the text are not crisp or sharp. is this normal? when i use analog, the text became crisp and sharp. why is this?

im using the analog right now because of this problem. i want to use the dvi, but how do i correct the text which is not crisp or sharp?
any help would be much appreciated. thanx.

looks like other users are having the same problem with the monitor.

It looks like an incompatibility issue between the OS, Video Card and Monitor.

Are you guys running VISTA? A user sa thread claimed to solve the problem by reverting back to XP.
Naa say ni claim nga na solve ilang problem through windows update w/c fixes the 1440x900 (WXGA+) support.

Most of the users who reported this problem are using Nvidia cards....

inno3d 7950gx2. XP man sad gamit nko bro. Mas hayag if analog, if mag DVI ko kay gamay ra iya contrast.

Balik lang ko analog kay gamay rman difference. di man kau maclaro analog or DVI. ambot saun sa pag differentiate sa ka claro using our naked eyes.

different models and brand have different video quality,.....
theres monitors that are good for gaming but bad text quality, vice versa,....

ah, so bisan diay ug 7series imo video card, naa ragyapon ang problema.
yup, na install nako ang driver sa monitor... but the problem is still there.

@v2s13, if ever ma solve nimo ang prob bro, pls tell me gi unsa nimo ha. maintain sa ko analog ron mintras di pa ma solv ning problemaha.

satisfied raman gyapn ko bisan analog, but i would like to maximize the performance of my monitor.

Before you try something drastic like changing your OS, try running Nvidia's Display Optimization Wizard from Nvidia's Control Panel. I'll be surprised if this won't solve your problems but keep us posted.

the monitor should be plug and play with a DVI,..... no installing of drivers or watever CD the LCD monitor came with,.....

put the res on 1280 x 1024 or higher,......
if its not crisp

thn its you monitor,...... thats how it is,....
