its not how about the semantics of the language, its how you use the power of the DESIGN(not UI or art design) but programming design (UML, seq diagram, etc).
dli ka magproblema if kamao ka ug OO concepts and jumping from language to language is just learning the semantics/syntax of the language.

unsa imo last na language/technology gigamit d ay?

I suggest try porting some of your code into C++ to start with.

    thanks.
I've worked with C#. and most of my projects are all web based. can't remember any other project that I did in C# n portable (within a short period of time, at least) to C++.
and yes, I agree, naa jd n xa paggamit sa language, pero d ko n mabaligya sa akong apply-an ug trabaho...

    well,here is my suggestion,
make a text based RPG game in C++, though its a text based game, designed your code so that the "rendering" is flexible and can be extended to support graphics in 2D later,
that is how i teach C++ man sa mga beginners

Paghimo ug text editor with search capability and syntax highlighting. If mahimo ni nimo, maayo na ka. You will learn file handling, data structure and algorithm and basically you are creating a compiler.
