    Default Law School Scholarship

    Guys, do you know of a good scholarship for Law school? I desperately need one.

    I was planing to take up law last year but i realized i cannot handle the finances (tuition, books, projects, etc) and also the pressure working as full time. Okay na unta to tanan, enrollment nalang after all the necessary requirements.

    Problem though is i don't have a very good credential in college. I mean, i did not graduate with flying colors but at least I was not also dumb. Average lang. ahehehhe. Usually ra ba for scholarships, they would certainly give the opportunity to the best candidates, right? Too bad. But there's nothing wrong with trying so namasin lang sad ko if naa mo nahibaw-an.

    I would certainly appreciate your reply. Thanks in advance

    Thanks, Passport, for your reply.

    I took up BSED major in Math. I am now practicing my profession but I still long to go back to school. I opt for law over masters because it's more practical for me, I think. ahehhehe

    a joke goes around the lawyers circles.. that people with math background will never be good in the practice of Law.. because to them, 1 + 1 is 2 no matter what.. but with lawyers.. the answer depends on the arguments...it can even be 0 if one is really clever!

    good joke. lol.
    I was also looking for a scholarship prior to enrolling this school year.
    My parent's were willing to pay for my education, but I had to go to the school of their choice - meaning I had to go home and live with them. I looked around, unfortunately I never found one. Still I proceeded in enrolling this year, however, it is proving to be really expensive and straining my finances.

    I think engineers probably will not agree with this reasoning.
    How can a non--math oriented person prove that 2=1 (can a lawyer prove that your 2 peso is just equivalent to piso??):
    1. Let a and b be equal non-zero quantities
    a=b
    2. Multiply through by a
    a^2 = ab
    3. Subtract
    a^2 - b^2 = ab - b^2
    4. Factor both sides
    (a-b)(a+b) = b(a-b)
    5. Divide out (a-b)
    a+b = b
    6. Observing that a=b
    b+b = b
    7. Combine like terms on the left
    2b = b
    8. Divide by the non-zero b
    2 = 1

    Right. Math never says lies. The beauty of it tells you that no matter how short or long your solution is, whether it is so much different from the rest, for as long as it's logical, you will still arrive with the same answer. Definite answer. So arguing 1=2, whether you bring it to the supreme court, is false and will remain to be always false.

    Kalingaw! Pro mas lingaw unta to kung kamo ang classmates sa imong papa.

    Akong gitrabahoan walay scholarship na gi-offer as far as I know. If ever naa man sad gane bro, wala na ko sa workplace by the time na mo-school ko. Rigid kaayo ang law and it demands time. I don't think I can handle schooling while working. I wonder if USC offers scholarship. Would you know?
