Test nimo sa duha ka machines? Why not use Virtual PC or VMWare. Its like a pc in your own pc.

trixbox jd gamita kay dali ra pag set-up... himo lang ka ug mga extensions nya install ug mga soft phones like "zoiper", humana.... naa nkay VoIP... peru kung imo apilon ang mga telephone lines, lahi na jd nang istoryaa.... aw mahal diay.... mag need nka ug extra hardware ana....

kung mag testing lang ug "soft" lines pwede ra sa virtual machine pero mas preferable makatuon kag hard coding instead of trixbox lang. pwede pud nimo ma gamit mga ip phones like cisco for testing ani. however if apil ang "hard" lines, mag kinahanglan ni ug digium card so kinahanglan nimo i setup isa ka pc para ani. more or less 8k palit nako sakong digium nga basic

we have our asterisk running on RedHat EL5 in our organization with about 9 branches nation wide...

Very tricky in terms of configuration, but once running, you'll leave it as is for the rest of its life span (if wala mga bag-o updates)

We are using Linksys IP Phones & Xlite Softphones for our clients.

You need to have FXS-FXO device para maka cater imo asterisk ug calls from/to your PSTN.
But trixbox would be very advisable since dili kaayo siya lisod in terms of configuration

naka try ko ug setup Asterisk Server bai on a CentOS linux...but in my case, I used zaptel telephony hardware device where I connected my analog phones.

in my case, setting up Asterisk is quite tricky especially the configurations part kay self-study ra mn gud ko ato...wa gyud koy lain guides except katong PDF nga file nga gi-provide sa Asterisk.org.

Wa pud ko ka-try anang trixbox but they said nga sayun ra daw...too bad, naka-setup nako sa akoa.
