    Default Please help us, we've been scammed!


    Hi everyone. Sorry sa mga mods wa jud ko kabalo kung asa ni dapita ibutang, so please allow me to post this here. Anyway, as what the title of my post says, sadly na scam me. Actually akung mama. My mom just came back from overseas and sad to say dali ra jud mailad. I think familiar na mu sa mga manawag lang ug kalit sa inyo informing you nga your number was among the 40 lucky numbers to be selected for a free gift. Mostly PLDT or Globe ang ila iingon nga tie up nila.

    Anyway, I received a call from them telling me nga apil daw ko sa 40 random numbers nga ila napilian for a free gift, now I was thinking that since it was free then I thought there was no harm done, I just needed to go to their redemption center (michikawa sa insular mall basak) para makuha ang item. When I got there they told me nga dili daw nila mahatag ang item kay i'm not 30 y/o (I was kinda curious as to why would that happen) but anyway since its still free sayang sad kung di nimo makuha, I went home to tell my mom nga siya lag akong pakuhaon. Then, all went downhill from there...

    My mom arrived there ganina, I wasn't there so I really dont know what happened exactly. Pero as what I've heard sa akung mga sis nga kuyog niya that time gi palibutan daw xa ug mga tawo dayon perteng sweet talk nila. Dayon perteng upsell nila sa ilang product which was perteng mahala. to make the long story short - na-ilad jud akung mama sa mga sweet talk nila. She ended up paying them 20k plus 30k through credit card. Dayon they gave us their so called products ranging from fat analyzers to chair massagers to rice cookers.

    When they got home ganina and told me the whole story I was devastated to hear nga they've lost a lot of money ani nga mga products. Clearly it was a scam. I told my mom nganu xa ningpalit and all i got was a blank look. I looked at everything naa pay i-deliver nga massaging chair karung saturday clearly a thing that we do not need! I really can't blame my mom kay dali ra jud xa ma-ilad. but no use crying over spilled milk, naa namo ang sales invoice wala sad giindicate nga no return no exchange sa purchase agreement.

    I've already called her credit card company to cancel her card. but we cant confirm if naa nay charge kay they cant give us full access sa account kay we are not calling from a verified number since her cc was from saudi and shes using a phil number. so question mark pa jud me karon kung nachargan ba jud iya cc. Ang aku lang kay ang 20k cash nga iya nahatag.

    Honestly guys, I'm very much angry right now to think nga some people would have the audacity to do this to us. And its partly my fault for falling for it in the first place, nadamay pa akung mama. That's why I will do everything in my power to get back what they stole from her. I can't stand the sad look on her eyes - she's worked so hard for us and this is what she gets. Believe me I'll never forget those eyes that I saw earlier from my mom, that picture will continue to haunt me forever.

    So please help me, help us. Any advice you can give, any person that we can contact. any help will be greatly appreciated. And I will be forever grateful.

    I guess in the law perspective you can still cancel the sale. But i guess it will never be a SCAM coz your mom received something in return from her money. There was a valid sale and your mom accepted the offer. The only thing you can do now is to cancel the sale and ask if you can still recover the money you've paid and ofcourse to return the things you got also.

    mura pwd raman na ma cancel ang order, mga maau jud na sila mangatik ky ga apas na silas ilang benta, naa mangoy ubang taho na bahalag mgkinaunsa bsta lang mka benta, pugsanay ba, mao ang final decision ana is ikaw manjud, u have the right mansad to refuse sa ilang offer, labi nag feel nmo wala nay gamit para nmo.. nxt time bro og naa gani mga ingon ana nga nka daog ka og something nya kabalo ka na wala kay g apilan na entry ayaw daun tuo, ky sa panahon karon bro wala juy free, free tast lang guro sa grocery store ang libre.. try pud nya pa close ang acount sa cc bro kung pwde, ky mao manay buhaton sa uban sa chek basis lang nuon, nka issue na og chek nya dli satisfied sa product so demand og return, but ang company dli na mo dawat og return, so the bst thing to do gpa close ang account.

    go to DTI and NBI
    they already have issues such as these handled

    sorry to hear TS but daghan na jud ang modus ing ani...lousy marketing strat.

    Anyway in consumer act you can still cancel the purchase...do it asap but sad thing today will be holiday. Do it first thing on Monday go to DTI for assistance as well.

    Then learn from it...cheers!

    There's a lot of these cases going on right now. I agree with the post above.You can go to DTI and NBI to report this issue.

    but most importantly, ipaphotocopy ang receipts and DONT open or use the items "Sold" para valid cya for return..

    La blema sis...search sad sa net... check sa dti nga website nay na cla mga article regarding ani nga scenario...hope ma cancel na and all izz well... cheer up sis!

    dli na scam naa may items na purchase if wala na receipt kana scam najd na
