Hi Vicente,


You’ve got too many patients to deal with everyday so I’ll just make this short and concise as I can.


Doctor’s are paid with professional fee. So as the name say it: PROFESSIONAL! It takes years to become a doctor and these “Doctors” follow conducts. I quote:

“The physician should approach patients with consideration, respecting their personal dignity, right to intimacy and privacy.”

I wonder how you could call yourself a doctor when in fact you don’t know how to respect simple human rights. Or should I keep it simple, you don’t know what good treatment towards people is.

You can apprehend and abhor patient’s behavior but you don’t have the right to lower their personal dignity. What are you proud of? Your years of experience? Your achievements? Would that compensate to how you badly approach your patients? How did your guardians raise you for you to speak degrading words towards your patients without conscience and worst PROUD of doing it? Is there nothing worse than knowing a bad behavior and proudly continue doing it?

Your medicine might be effective but that can’t cure the damage resulting to your irresponsible use of words. Oh maybe I forgot you are just a “dermatologist”, you treat only issues of SKIN DEEP! That would make sense.

Here are your favorite words that you have used against me, just to remind you.

• · Buang (repeated too many times) idiot/crazy/stupid
• · Utok bulinaw brain as small as that of a small fish
• · Wala kay culture of excellence? you don’t have culture of excellence?
• · Buang!, gawas (buzzer pressed) idiot/crazy/stupid get out!

Etc. (This is the first time that i have been humiliated like this all my life)

I have to defend myself. No person will let anyone step on their dignity, but every answer I replied is answered with sentences with “buang” in between.

I remember I asked: “moshagit diay ka?” do you need to shout?
You answered: “uu kay ako ning clinic!” yes because this is my clinic!

That’s when I realized I didn’t go to the wrong doctor; I went to the WRONG PERSON!

May God further prosper your career in Medicine. Please respect your patients even though they have done themselves wrong by not following your strict medications for reasons incomprehensible to you. We do accept scolding but to approach us like beings lower than human is a different thing.

Please feel free to share or even post in your blogs. I hope somehow Vicente will read this one. I don't want any unnecessary commotion about this. I just what him to know that not all people would just bend to superiors who throw inhumane words at them. I'm not telling him to change, I'm 'asking' him to change not for me but for his future patients.

I'm 1 of a many patient of Doctor Verallo back in the 90's dili pa kaayo daghan iya patient adto panahona but he was considered 1 of the best Dermatologist in Cebu that time dili pud kaayo vane/arte ang mga tao mao cguro dili sad sya daghan ug patients.......Ok man kaayo sya soft spoken man kaayo sya mao nga nahibong jud ko TS ngano ingon ana iya treatment nmo.......but since naghimo nmn ka ug blog against nya much better if e yag2x nmo tanan nahitabo kay from the looks of it murag 1 sided ra kaayo dli jud detalyado...............

Siya na ako doctor from time to time since 1993 kay maayo mo treat sa skin problems bisan whole day ka mag antos mo huwat sa clinic kay daghan kaayo patients pero year 2001 mao na nga last time mi anha niya kay ikaw pa ang patient nag bayad niya ikaw pa insultohon. mura mao ra na nga doctor nga wala siya kahibaw nga angayan pud siya pa tan-aw sa Psychologist.

Yes. Ang reason nga moangana sya kay like naa kay tambal nga dili mafollow. Or motubag ka and moquestion. Sarcastic jud sya motubag. Kanang tipong insulto jud kaayo ba nga mafeel nimo nga barumbado ka. Naa koe tambal nga wala nafollow. Mao to ang reason. Modawat ko ug kasaba pero insultohon akong pagkatawo ug pagtawag ug mga pinulongan nga makasakit, dili man guro na husto.

Ngbuhat ko ug entries sa blog sa story jud. Pag basa nako sa mga forums diri nga daghan pud sha na verbally abused, nagsearch ko ug mga medical ethics and conducts asta ang rights and responsibilities sa chong hua. Nakita nako kung mangasaba man gani dili pud guro grabi ka degrading nga hasta personal dignity sa tao tumban na nimo.. Worst eforce kag papahawa sa clinic. That is denial of service.
