Default Help on buying the right laptop ( ASUS or LENOVO )

I have been contemplating for a long time and has now decided to buy yet still dont know which one .

Considering the similar pricing and specifications , which branding shows more feasibility and worth the money ? ASUS or LENOVO ?

By the way , ang ASUS is the K55DV and the LENOVO is the V400 . 42K PHp and 43k PHp respectively ang price and the only big difference nila is the warranty , Lenovo carries 2 years while 1 for ASUS and both has Windows 8 already installed.

Are they even in the same league ? LENOVO is part IBM while ASUS manufactures the best motherboards around .

By the way , purpose of the laptop is :

    - Browsing and surfing
    - Little bit of gaming
    - Photoshopping
    - Microsoft office applications

Thank you in advance . I have checked the net for reviews, both branding are equal in reviews .

I won't consider buying a Lenovo simply because it's a Chinese brand. I'm not giving my money to China. It's my protest against China's bullying.

Fafi, ang K55VD imong pasabot? Also, I think V400 is a series dili gyud na mao ang specific model. Pero assuming lang it's an Ideapad, from what I've heard nindot na sila. Lenovos are known pud for sexy and solid builds, dugay maguba, etc etc. Ang nakabintaha raman siguro sa K55 kay dili integrated (albeit hinay) ang graphics. Battery life, other specs and ports nalang siguro imong basihan ana.

    Thank you all !

@ DONDON ... hehehehe sorry K55VD diay and actually ang akong gi check sa sa Thinking tools kay ang K55VJ and ang sa Lenovo kay V400 man sulti sa saleslady . My brother told me that as long as Lenovo siya na dili THINKPAD basura na . For a THINKPAD that matches the same sa specs sa K55 , it is prcied double , maybe in the 80K'ish , mag Macbook na lang ko hehehehe . By the way , ang K55 naa sa 42K lang but walay bunle , free bag lang and a 4G flashdrive .

    @ BOTEPAD and BUTITOY ....

Thanks for your inputs , patriotic man sad ko and I have just realized. Hahaha ... for the MSI laptop , sa Asus man ko na in love sad gyud tungod sa iyahang features na lesser importance bitaw , kani laging ihas ta and ibog ibog . I will check it out kay ang edge niya is cheaper siya sa ASUS with comparable specs and a little advance siya sa model na gi gamit na video card. Thank you for the suggestion.

    @ SLEEPYANTZ ....

that must be the ideapad series. syempre mas mahal gyud ang thinkpads because they're industry grade and targeted for business folks. ideapad is their entertainment and gaming line. either should be good really, i got my wife an ideapad y series so she can play fps games.
