Default After the UP suicide incident, Malacaņang Palace HELPLESS on tuition policies.

Malacaņang on Saturday admitted it was helpless in changing tuition policies of state colleges and universities, in the wake of a University of the Philippines Manila student taking her own life supposedly because she could not afford to pay tuition.

    My opinion:

Bayeeeet!

What the hell!

I guess naay cockroach sa rotten brain ni NOYNOY!

The president should be blamed because he approved the tuition increase sa mga state universities! Dapat free ang tuition sa mga state universities!

It seems like the President is unaacountable for his actions! Kairresponsible ba! Nya helpless siya sa in-ani nga issue nga alarming man kaayu ni!

    Your thoughts on this matter.

Reminder: No AD HOMINEMS! Attack the opinion, not the GORGEOUS threadstarter.

The President of Philippines is helpless and he is busy smoking and increasing the commodities and adding sin tax..

adding tax laws that may increase the income of the products coming from their hacienda and rich businessmen

He is busy politicking and choosing his yellow TSHIRT and eating hotdogs in New york..

No time for Juan it seems.

Helpless His government has been reducing the budget off all State Universities every year. So what can the state universities do They had to increase their tuition to survive.

A quarter of all pork barrels should be allocated for education! tsk tsk tsk.

Unfortunately half or almost all of the politician's pork barrel is being pocketed! What's left for the ordinary citizens?

Mga sinsilyo na lang sa pork barrel?

It really sucks living in the Philippines!

Wow. Should the government pay for the tuition fees of all the students in the Philippines?
I have a 6 year old son, should I stop striving hard to earn a living and let the government take care of my son's tuition and daily needs?
Should I stop educating and inspiring my son to be humble and face any challenges ahead with a strong heart and sharp mind?

Inflation is there to stay and 10% yearly hike in tuition is just normal.
Geez. Parents, please take responsibility and stop blaming others.

If you do not want to take the responsibility, ayaw pataka ug panganak.

Wa man ko nisulti nga dapat ang government ang magbayad sa mga tuition fees sa mga studyante! IKAW RA MAY NAGPATAKA DIHA

My point is, it doesn't make any sense kun ngano naay tuition sa mga state universities nga supposedly free man unta na!

And it's Noynoy's fault! If only Noynoy did not approve the increase of tuition sa mga state universities, di unta mahitabo ang in-ani nga incident!

I'm sure you live a comfortable life since you were young, mao nga wa ka kasabot sa mga seniments sa mga poor people nga self supporting arun lang makaskwela!

And I repeat, state universities dapat walay tuition pero look, 1,000 per unit ang tuition sa UP! Di ka malain?!

Ug unsay konek sa pagpanganak?! Pasabta kuno ko! AHAHAHAHA

Many graduated from state colleges paying virtually nothing. Much of these people are highly respected in today's society. We see many of them in PNOY's cabinet. We spend so much per PMAer who generally as senior officers end up being corrupt anyway (if they don't die in combat young) but not enough for our state scholars who go on to lead much more meaningful lives.

If that is your take on handouts, then pray tell what do you think about the Pantawid Pamilya Program?
