Hana Yori Dango...

The story is based on the same manga as meteor garden but this is the Japanese version. I watched the whole series and seasons 1 & 2. If u loved meteor garden back then, you'll surely love this one, although the characters may not seem much appealing compared to meteor garden (except for Matsumoto Jun) but this series is by far one of the best japanese drama series there is. Pretty cool soundtrack and not dragging at all...

ahh... there is also a Korean version of hana yori dango and meteor garden.. i'm pretty excited how that one goes.. it will be releasead some time this year..

Actually Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) is a Japanese manga created by Kamio Yoko. Diri gi-based ang Meteor Garden (Angie Cai/Taiwan) and also the Hana Yori Dango (Japan). Even ang new Korean version.

Among other differences sa sub-plots, etc. MG is in a college setting, not high school. MG also paved way to Japanese manga based TV series/Movie in Taiwan, (ex. Hana Kimi) and also in Japan and other asian countries as well.

As the latest I heard, ang China maghimo na sad og ilang own version sa Hana Yori Dango.


I enjoyed both Taiwan and Japan made series. And I very much would like the Taiwan production do another MG 3. Gusto ko magkadayon si Xi Men and Xiao You.
