MyDSL Problems

Got a problem with my DSL connection.

Previous connection looks like this.

Wall -> ZyXEL DSL Modem - Belkin N Router -> PC then my kids, itouch/laptop connects by wifi.

A few weeks ago... something happened. I could not connect to the net using my PC. But I can still connect with the laptop/itouch through the wifi.

When I checked my connection, It say that there is no LAN connection because there's no IP address. I went online to look for solutions. Some suggested changing the LAN card. I was using the built-in port. So I bought a LAN card. Still didn't work. Reset the router. Still didn't work.

So right now my connection looks like this.

Wall -> ZyXEL DSL Modem -> PC

And its working. Which is okay. But pisses off my kids because they can't go online.

Could anyone give me some solutions? Have you encountered this problem?

sir,, suggest lang. why not hired a technician.? a single penny be work a lot for all day for brainstorming.

naa ra sa Belkin ang problema ana..try resetting the wifi router to factory defaults...

most technician also inquires here..he just did a shortcut..what if it happens again..hes gonna pay again?so it wont be a penny anymore if you sum it up. .

@ TS try a different router..borrow lng usa. .basin sa router na..like d mugana ang lan kung nka wi-fi or vice versa.

reset to factory defaults basin na auto update..try a diff lan port sa router
