just curious, who else has the Wii? just want to share some few things I learned

- If you plan to get an extra WiiMote, hunt down the WiiPlay box, it has a free collection of games for only about P500 more than the normal controller box
- Download the new Internet Channel that is powered by Opera, I spent more time browsing the net on the TV, especially YouTube than playing games eeep!
- Wii Sports/Wii Play can last you a very long long time especially if you play it with someone like your wife/gf/husband/sister/bro etc... even my father thinks its fun lol

I'm also planning on getting a Wii but not now maybe late this year. The way I see it Wii is more fun than PS3.

Yup it is fun I guess it depends on the games, I mean Wii Sports has no equivalent to the other platforms, then again, Wii doesn't have a hardcore game like Gears of War, MGS4, FFXIII etc...by hardcore i mean HD graphics, DD sound, astounding online gaming etc..
that's why I'm still planning to buy a PS3 once Home, LittleBigPlanet, PS Eye, MGS4, FFXIII all comes out gud thing next year pani tanan mo gawas para makatigum hahaha in the meantime i'll still be playing Wii Sports with my wife

It looks like what they say is true, Wii is meant to be more like a secondary console be it the Xbox360 or PS3, I mean for example there's no online gaming like the other consoles but for now I am having fun with my Wii

aside from the games included out of the box, what other games is a must have?

wii is a great consol. you get to play your favorite nintendo games and get to loose a little weight since in some games, its better to stand up and play than seated. must haves are:

super paper mario
wii sports
metal slug compilation (im a metal slug fan!)
wario ware -smooth moves (lotsa fun but kinda short game)
tiger woods 2007

i got mine from hk. its in japanese but the games play and work in english (thank god). pre-installed with a wiikey. Long Live Nintendo! The king is back! Cant wait for Mario Party for Wii!!!!

don't have a wii yet but thinking about it for weeks now... what's the lowest price you've seen them sold at cebu? lthe cheapest I saw was I think around 22k is it necessary ba to get a second wiimote and nunchuck?

wii's are cheaper if your willing to get a japanese version. however it makes using the miis very difficult. (japanese ang menu!)

i know the jap versions can be had for as low as 18k!

a second wiimote is very necessary, Wii is made for a party atmosphere, i bought mine from DataBlitz cheaper siya there and got my 2nd wiimote via the WiiPlay...btw besides Zelda and Paper Mario, I can see no other single player game na nindot, its graphics is like a GC 1.5, I daresay even the top notch PS2 games looks better hehehe its more fun to play a Wii with someone and u get a healthy exercise too!!

@darkwing: i saw wii's graphics on my friends Tv and it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either....it's already expected...wii is made for fun that's why i'm getting it hehe
