OK, here's a reason why I'm asking for recommendations...
Lately, my long-time boyfie has been feeling down about work and not to mention, it's almost his birthday (March 1

I purposely made him think I will be busy on his birthday (well, I AM!) so I can surprise him with his favorite food... Japanese buffet
What I'm looking for is preferably an Japanese restaurant that offers QUALITY food. Authenticity and buffet options are a plus. If their buffet offers both sukiyaki and sushi, then I am sold (most of the buffets are either sukiyaki-only or sushi-only)
I've tried
> Mikado - ok lang, but it's not really good quality
> Wakamatsu near Castle peak, they only have nabe
> Rai-Rai-Ken/Nonki/Tokyo Joe's/ Tokyo Tokyo/ Joed's..... They are a bit too "fast food"-like and the quality is a bit lacking
I heard but haven't tried
> Kanyeon
> Kagura
> Chibori.
> Ichirayaki (sp?)
Sorry if it seems like a "long post" and and medyo "kuti", but I am after quality and sometimes, after eating murag bidli and before you say anything else, I DID search the forum and the threads are either old or didn't make sense... and they are recommending Tokyo Joe, Tempura and the likes...
I promise to post pics of our dining experience if we do find something nice
