Default Can you recommend a Japanese Restaurant in Cebu that offers buffet?

OK, here's a reason why I'm asking for recommendations...

Lately, my long-time boyfie has been feeling down about work and not to mention, it's almost his birthday (March 1 I purposely made him think I will be busy on his birthday (well, I AM!) so I can surprise him with his favorite food... Japanese buffet

What I'm looking for is preferably an Japanese restaurant that offers QUALITY food. Authenticity and buffet options are a plus. If their buffet offers both sukiyaki and sushi, then I am sold (most of the buffets are either sukiyaki-only or sushi-only)

    I've tried
    > Mikado - ok lang, but it's not really good quality
    > Wakamatsu near Castle peak, they only have nabe
    > Rai-Rai-Ken/Nonki/Tokyo Joe's/ Tokyo Tokyo/ Joed's..... They are a bit too "fast food"-like and the quality is a bit lacking

    I heard but haven't tried
    > Kanyeon
    > Kagura
    > Chibori.
    > Ichirayaki (sp?)

Sorry if it seems like a "long post" and and medyo "kuti", but I am after quality and sometimes, after eating murag bidli and before you say anything else, I DID search the forum and the threads are either old or didn't make sense... and they are recommending Tokyo Joe, Tempura and the likes...

I promise to post pics of our dining experience if we do find something nice

Best sukiyaki in Cebu is Ichiriki chaya along AS Fortuna. Sushi is really good as well. Mahal lang gamay compared to Nonki or YuYuTei.

Yumeya is better overall menu ,also mahal, but sukiyaki and sushi better in Ichiriki.

Japanese buffet will never be good. Serving time is crucial in authentic Japanese cooking. Kung ganahan Filipino style Japanese "fusion kuno", I would choose Red Kimono over Sumo Sam.

You can never go wrong with Waka Matsu Yakiniku. It's around P700 per head, i think. But it's all worth it.
