What's your method of applying thermal paste?

i have searched this over the net and found many conflicting suggestions.

im asking for suggestions since wla ko mka uyon sa temp sa ako.a new cooler and thermal paste (frio og pk-1) mas bugnaw pa ako hyper 212+ og tuniq tx4.

current:
idle: 29-32 (gabie)
30-34 (udto)
load: 46-47 (gabie)
47-50 (udto)

no ac. dli man pod kaau init jd ako kwarto. naa man ko electric fan.

previous cooler:
idle: 25-29
load: 40-44

see. dagko kaau difference. ako method of application before was spreading the paste with a card.
then nagswitch ko ron og pea size sa tunga.

unsay inyo mga style diha nga ning work jud? pls advise para ma test pod nko. tnx

hyper212+ and tx2 pea-size here, bsin wala na ma mount tarong imo cooler boss.

sa pc express ko nka palit ani saona. ka 4 nko nag tang2x ani ako new cooler ron. hehe

sometimes, i do this especially surfaces like sa hyper 212+, i evenly apply thin layer of paste on both heatsink and processor's surface. then try to wait at least 24 hrs for curing time and check temps again.
