Lapu-lapu/Mandaue Bridge Scheduled Repair

Please be informed that on February 25, 2013 , DPWH Cebu 6th District Engineering will start its repair of the two bridges. Total number of days to complete the repair for the Old Bridge is estimated at 16 days and for the New Bridge is estimated at 70days.

Repair Schedule:

February 25, 2013 to March 4, 2013 Old Bridge Phase 1 (Left Lane going to Lapulapu)
Traffic going to Lapulapu will pass thru right lane
Traffic going to Mandaue will pass thru New Bridge

March 5, 2013 to March 12, 2013 Old Bridge Phase 2 (Right Lane going to Lapulapu)
Traffic going to Lapulapu will pass thru left lane
Traffic going to Mandaue will pass thru New Bridge
(Marcelo Fernan Bridge)

March 13, 2013 to May 21, 2013 New Bridge (Marcelo Fernan Bridge)
There will be no major rerouting for this repair
Repair methodology will be in stages so as not to
disrupt traffic

Expect nalang ta heavy traffic on peak hours ani...
