Default What happens if positive blood is given to a negative patient?

    Hello Guys,

I am going to working in Japan for a few years, and I just learned that almost no Japanese have any sort of negative blood (O-, A-, B-, AB-). I have O negative blood, which means I need to get O negative blood if I'm getting a transfusion. But if a hospital didn't have any if they had to use O positive or used it by mistake or something, what would happen to me? Would I die? Develop some disease? I know I'm worrying too much, but I don't speak Japanese very well and I'm afraid there could be a miscommunication or something.

    Thank You
    Lucy James

Kung tagaan kag + nya - ka? You'll suffer serious complications.
To be fair, I don't think Japanese hospitals are stupid enough to transfuse just about any type of blood due to language barrier. For sure, you'll be tested

If my memory serves me well, diha bitaw toy usa ka story nga mabdos geh abunuhan og dugo, pero lain type ang nabutang - namatay
