Huhu! That's still too high? Anyway how much was KINGDOM COME your copy when you bought it? Was it about a grand?

Anyway, I'm guessing you got yours at Filbar's? or abroad?

I bought it for 750 bucks last December 2004, it's plastic covered. I think the price is about right. Anyway, if you think you can still afford it, e-mail me
at carlo_montoya@yahoo.com (not via Istorya because I can't access this site because our company is !@#$%^&* strict about us accessing non-business
related sites). If not, then no need to reply.

Read "Kingdom Come"," Marvels" and "Uncle Sam". You'll have both reading and viewing pleasure.

I don't think this site encourages violations to the intellectual property rights of authors. It's time we Filipinos respect intellectual property rights by buying
instead of "stealing." I suggest you ask your friend to delete the copies of Kingdom Come.

Our company has started it's campaign and although we resented it at first, we now understand the importance of IPR. Just put yourselves in Alex Ross's
shoes. He gets to do the hard work and "pirates" steal his work. He makes no money and decides not to draw anymore. So, we have to settle for comics
drawn by wanna-be artists (Good God, there are plenty in the comic books industry).

    To mods,

Please be mindful of posts about IPR violations.

well, as far as I'm concerned Ross and others who've hit it big time are stacked up anyway, and as with any other media pirates cause the damage but I don't think it's very scathing to the author/proprietor, is it?

Besides there aren't any "illegal transactions" in this thread.

If I had my own "works" too, and I was regularly raking in oodles out of them..... and if they're being cloned and passed on as boots to entertain the people who are less fortunate financially, I wouldn't mind.

Only rich stiffs like Executive David Begelman - people who aren't used to living without cash and kill themselves afterwards anyway are those arrogant enough to be so "legalistic" to those yes participate in what is "illegal", yet don't cause any catastrophic devastation to an artist or the owner of a product.

That's all I'm saying kay ma pareha nya ni sa Napster debate sa una....

    Come.

Will it really get to this point?

True.Â* Bill Gates wouldn't starve for the next 100 years even if half of his products were "pirated."Â* I would also be a hypocrite if I pretended not to have
bought pirated software but I've started to throw them away (thus, I'm selling my computer books to people who legally own software like Flash MX 2004,
    Photoshop 7, etc.).Â*

I think the only thing's that left for me to do is donate some amount to freeware software developers via PayPal(?).

He he he, I don't think it will get to the point where comics will be drawn and written by riffraffs.Â* I was just exaggerating, of course.

I also apologize for posting an off-topic.Â* Ang ako lang unta, di na lang ta istorya about us having "illegal" stuff.Â* Okay ra man siguro ni na idea no? Basig
    initan ta BSA, patay.
