    Default Working in Manila

Share your work experience, issues, etc..

I will soon relocate to Manila by the end of the month. Got a job offer at an advertising agency. I will definitely start from scratch since I don't have any relatives in Manila. Still have to look for rooms for rent.

For Cebuanos already working in Manila, musta man diha?

TS, when you say Manila, where exactly in Manila if you don't mind. Tip lang sis.... better look for a place that's a walking distance to LRT, MRT stations. Kay if mag-commute ka via PUJ's, matang maglabad imu ulo. Ma-antos pa ang MRT ug LRT kay sa mag-jeep ka.

Daghan room for rent sa Bambang, Tayuman stations nga barato ra. If sa other side pud sa LRT, check Pedro Gil hangtud Gil Puyat area. Naa pud diha. You may consider Gil Puyat pd if Makati area imu office and one ride to Mall of Asia pud.

I don't recommend Pasay area for security reasons.

I used to work in Manila before, my advice is find a place to rent that is very near to your place since your number issue there is the traffic.

Aw okies.. sorry TS not to offend you ha kay Manila is Manila, Manila is not San Juan. Both of them are in Metro Manila Daghan diha TS, duol sa Pinaglabanan Shrine all the way down to Sta. Mesa area. 1 ride ra paingun Greenhills. Pero TS, traffica ra ba dihang dapita. Maski aha ka nga side. Ortigas side going to Greenhills or Sta. Mesa going to Greenhills. Best wishes TS.

if greenhills ka magwork, then pinakamalapit is likod ng crame or called as West Crame... lalakarin mo lang sya going to greenhills...
    halo-halo tao dyan.

moved to manila (last august). office is in makati. staying in pasay-makati area.
so far mao ni akong na notice.
if muoli ka from office, manguli mong tanan. murag permi sinulog. daghan kaayo ug tawo. hahaha. hasta inig sud sa landmark linyang haskang taasa.
mahal jud ang food, mahal pod ang rent. ang importante lang diri is that you should stay near a police station - kanang naay police visibility ang area kay daghan riding in tandem (ug uban pa) kung unsa nang naa sa news (generally) mao na. hehehehe. dapat pod mangita kag lugar na one ride lang para dali ka kay ang traffic dri OA ra. hehehe. ang 20 minutes walk mo take xa ug 1 hour kung ma traffic ka nya ang distance mga 2 kilometers ragud. atleast mao na akong na experience. dia pa jud diay. e ready ang imong bagtak sa pagcge ug lakaw... grabe ang walkathon.
akoa lang ning opinion, but if nagwork ka currently sa cebu nya mo work ka ug manila (assuming naay increment) dapat e factor in nimo ang pag uli sa cebu. karon man gud ako, mahalan kog uli sa cebu mao nang sigeng mingaw, cgeg handum sa cebu. hahaha..

mao lang to akong experience karon. like nowm nagpalabay usa sa oras kay sakay pa kaayo. hahahahaha.
